The Iron Ore train journey from Nouadhibou to Choum lasts about thirteen hours. We'd recommend bringing a GPS or using your phone as a navigation tool. This allowed us to check our progress and know when to disembark. Remember, there's no conductor calling out stations! Once in Choum, one of us jumped off to confirm with someone on the ground.
